The most prominent complaints are from the Construction sector. The Commission therefore appointed officers from the consumer services department, the legal affairs department and market surveillance department to work in collaboration with other authorities (Seychelles Licensing Authority and Planning Authority) towards addressing the failures in the market. The joint Committee meets every three months.
The Commission has also increased its efforts towards educating the public vis-à-vis their rights and responsibilities through various platforms. Outreach programs have also been conducted to educate businesses/companies vis-à-vis their responsibilities.
